Description and Requirements

At Skanska, we’re shaping the way we live, work and connect. As one of the world’s largest construction and development companies, we work together with customers, communities and partners to shape a better society.

We're supporting hospitals nationwide, ensuring clean, well-ventilated, and heated spaces that aid patient recovery. We help cut energy use, carbon emissions, and waste costs, drawing on global best practice from over 400 healthcare projects.

You will be working in the Building Services OU based in St Bartholomew's Hospital where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer who will be responsible for periodic electrical inspection and testing across the estate to ensure continued statutory compliance and operational safety. The role will support wider electrical maintenance activities including emergency lighting repairs, reactive fault finding, and minor works on systems such as access control and CCTV.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
