Pay: £38,000–£42,000 PAYE or £230–£300 per day Price Work (Subcontract)


Electrical Tester – EICR – North Yorkshire

Are you an experienced Electrical Tester looking for consistent, long-term work with a well-established electrical contractor?

Goom Electrical is recruiting Electrical Testers / EICR Electricians to join our growing social housing compliance programmes across North Yorkshire.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out EICR testing and electrical inspections in occupied social housing properties
  • Identifying electrical defects and recording results accurately
  • Completing required C1 and C2 remedial works where necessary
  • Ensuring all electrical work meets current regulations and safety standards
  • Working professionally and respectfully in customers' homes
  • Completing certification through EasyCerts, with office support provided

Requirements

To be considered for this Electrical Tester role, you will need:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification
  • 2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent
  • ECS Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Previous experience carrying out EICRs
  • Domestic electrical testing experience

Social Housing Experience Is Preferred But Not Essential
