Electrical Trainer and Assessor, North Bristol, up to £42,000

Come off the tools without losing the trade. This is a chance to pass on 20 years of site experience to the next generation of electricians, with a training provider that funds every qualification you need to get there.

The role

You will teach and assess apprentices against the 5357 Installation Electrician Level 3 standard, working from a North Bristol centre with easy access from the M4 and M5. The work splits between classroom delivery, on-site assessment visits, reviewing electronic portfolios, and getting each learner properly ready for their End Point Assessment.

You will work one to one and in groups, so communication and the ability to motivate people matter as much as technical knowledge. All portfolios are electronic, so you need to be comfortable with IT.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the client

One of the South West's leading independent training providers, delivering apprenticeships and commercial training across business, healthcare, childcare and trades, including electrical, plumbing and gas, and fire and security. Apprenticeship achievement rates are among the highest in the region, with several programmes hitting 100% in recent years.

They are moving into new markets and regions while holding onto the delivery standards that got them there, so there is real scope to shape how the trades provision grows.
