Role Description
The Electrical Trainer will deliver high-quality electrical training courses, focusing on practical skills, safety, and regulatory compliance for learners in the London Area, United Kingdom. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and delivering lessons, demonstrations, and assessments aligned with relevant standards and qualification requirements. The Electrical Trainer will design and update course materials, training resources, and assessments to reflect current industry practices, electrical regulations, and best practices. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Safety, with up-to-date understanding of UK electrical regulations and industry standards.
- Practical experience in Electrical Maintenance and installation within domestic or commercial environments.
- Proven ability in Training and Curriculum Development, including delivering structured lessons, assessments, and learner support.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent) and assessor or teaching credentials (e.g., AET, PTLLS, or equivalent).
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing schedules, records, and compliance with awarding body and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in further education, vocational training, or industry-based instruction is highly beneficial.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching and ongoing professional development in electrical and energy-related fields.
