Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer
London | Building Services Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established and growing building services consultancy based in central London.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious electrical engineer to become part of a collaborative, technically driven team working on a diverse range of building services projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, with a strong focus on quality, collaboration and developing its people.
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play an important role in the delivery of electrical building services designs from concept through to completion.
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing electrical designs and specifications across a range of building services projects.
- Producing calculations, drawings, reports and technical documentation.
- Working collaboratively with mechanical engineers, BIM/Revit teams, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Supporting projects through the various stages of design and construction.
- Providing technical input and helping to develop efficient, practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Attending design and project meetings with clients and wider project teams.
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to their technical development.
- For Senior-level candidates, taking greater responsibility for projects, client relationships and the technical delivery of electrical designs.
- Using modern BIM and design tools to support coordinated project delivery.

About You
We are interested in speaking with Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Engineers who are looking for their next opportunity within a forward-thinking consultancy.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within a building services consultancy environment.
- A strong understanding of electrical building services design.
- Experience producing electrical calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant UK standards and Building Regulations.
- Experience with Revit/BIM would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
- For Senior Engineer level, we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience taking ownership of projects and are confident communicating with clients and other members of the design team.
