Electrical Engineer / Senior Engineer
Glasgow or Edinburgh | Full Time

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer or Senior Engineer to join its growing Scotland team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting, technically challenging projects across healthcare, education, data centres, critical infrastructure, commercial, residential, and technology sectors.

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs from concept through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing electrical calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Designing LV distribution, lighting, earthing/protection, and emergency systems.
  • Coordinating designs with other disciplines and consultants.
  • Reviewing contractor information and carrying out site inspections.
  • Attending client and design meetings.
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.

Senior Engineers will also take ownership of larger projects, lead electrical disciplines, manage technical delivery, and contribute to client and commercial relationships.

About You

You'll have a degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, strong technical knowledge, and experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, and OM Electrical.

IEng/CEng or working towards professional registration is preferred, along with experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment.
