Role Description
This full-time, on-site Electrical Technician role is based in London & South East. The Electrical Technician will install, test, and maintain electrical components and systems for solar projects, including panels, inverters, and related equipment. Daily responsibilities include:

The role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics, ensuring work complies with safety standards and regulations, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality installations. The technician will also document work performed, maintain tools and equipment, and assist with continuous improvement of installation and maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- Skills in electrical maintenance and working safely with electricity
- Skills in troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnosing equipment faults
- Skills related to electrical engineering principles and practical application in field installations
- Skills in handling, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment used in solar and related systems
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of UK electrical standards and regulations, including safe working practices and PPE usage
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work safely in on-site environments
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
