Electrician (10641) | Barnsley
Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a role where no two days are the same?
At WPS, we're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join our Responsive Maintenance Team, carrying out essential repairs, testing, and installations across social housing properties throughout the Barnsley area.

What You'll Be Doing
As Part Of Our Team, You'll Be Responsible For
- Carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, and installations in both occupied and void properties.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues quickly and safely.
- Completing inspection, testing, and certification work.
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Responding to emergency repairs when required.
- Delivering excellent customer service while working in residents' homes.
- Working closely with other trades and colleagues to provide high-quality maintenance solutions.

What We're Looking For
To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- Experience working within social housing, domestic maintenance, or responsive repairs.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
