We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our Maintenance team

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our hotel operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards for both guests and colleagues.

As a Hotel Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and supporting the overall upkeep of the hotel's facilities. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and other departments, you will carry out both reactive and planned maintenance, helping to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site reactive maintenance and general building repairs.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Skills & Requirements

  • Industry-recognised trade qualifications desirable.
  • Electrical qualification or experience desirable.
  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance.
  • Flexibility with shift changes when required.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours, 5 days per week with a mix of early and late shifts, including weekends.
