Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in London. The Electrician will carry out domestic and commercial electrical installations, perform maintenance and repair tasks, and support fault finding and diagnostics in line with UK regulations and company standards. The role involves responding to urgent issues, ensuring safe working practices, documenting work accurately, and communicating clearly with clients, colleagues, and contractors. The Electrician will collaborate with the wider team to plan jobs, maintain tools and equipment, and contribute to high-quality, compliant, and well-organized service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, including understanding of UK wiring regulations and safe working practices.
  • Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Electrical Work, covering domestic and commercial installations, upgrades, and compliant testing procedures.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform routine servicing, component replacement, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Candidates should possess Troubleshooting capabilities, including systematic fault finding, diagnostics, and problem resolution in live and non-live environments.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds, or equivalent), valid ECS card, and NICEIC-related experience are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, use test instruments, and complete accurate reports, certifications, and job documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and prior experience in domestic and commercial contracting environments are advantageous.
