Job Description
Simkiss is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to support electrical installation projects across industrial environments. The role involves installing tray work, conduit and trunking systems, SWA cabling of various sizes, and distribution boards, ensuring all work is completed to Simkiss quality standards and in full compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations. Working under the direction of the Site Supervisor, you will contribute to safe, efficient project delivery across utilities and infrastructure sites.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong reliability, loyalty and professionalism, with the ability to use initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent
- C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent
- CCNSG
Desirable Qualifications/Experience
- SHEA Passport – Not essential
- SCO1 & 2 – Not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels
- Ability to travel at short notice including long distance
- Team player
- Willing to work overtime when required including working away from home Monday - Friday
- Awareness of H+S regulations on site
Additional Information
- £20.98 per hour
- Overtime is paid at time and a half after 37.5 hrs including travel time
- Saturdays – first 6hrs at time and a half, double time thereafter
- Sundays – Double time all day
- 22 days annual leave plus Statutory Bank Holidays
- SSP – in accordance with government regulations
- Training is provided by the company along with supported career development
- Further levels of pay are achievable once qualified. E.g., Compex Electrician
