We're looking for an Electrician to join our Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4.

Location: Area 4 - Honeywood - Stanford Depot, M20 Junction 11, Honeywood, Kent, CT21 4UX

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week on a shift basis

Salary: £38,808 to £42,357 per annum depending on experience and qualifications

Join our team as an Electrician where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing streetlighting assets across Area 4. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of essential maintenance services to our communities.

What will you be responsible for?

As An Electrician, You'll Be Working Within The Area 4 M&R Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Routine Preventative And Reactive Maintenance On Streetlighting Assets. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting assets in accordance with contract requirements
  • Conducting periodic testing, new installation testing, and fault finding on electrical equipment and control systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and safety procedures
  • Completing accurate documentation and records of maintenance work carried out, including health and safety records
  • Monitoring contractors' safe working practices and contributing to a collaborative working environment

What are we looking for?

This Role Of Electrician Is Great For You If

  • You hold City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS Card, and City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect qualifications
  • You have a Full driving licence and experience in streetlighting maintenance operations
  • You bring strong problem-solving skills and a good working knowledge of risk management
  • You're committed to delivering quality work through collaborative partnerships in a supportive team environment
  • You have a positive, adaptable attitude with the determination to deliver projects within time and budget constraints
