Electrician
We are looking for a talented and motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Cornwall and Devon. Working across both workshop and site environments, you'll play an important role in delivering and maintaining essential water and wastewater infrastructure that supports local communities and businesses.

You'll work on a wide range of interesting projects, from electrical installations and control panels through to fault-finding, testing and commissioning of process equipment.
Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Engineer, you'll be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality solutions safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and fault-finding on electrical systems and process plant equipment
- Working on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and chemical dosing systems
- Manufacturing, installing and maintaining electrical control panels
- Installing and maintaining cabling systems, containment and instrumentation
- Supporting inspection, testing, commissioning and diagnostic activities
- Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues across a variety of projects
- Supervising apprentices and providing support to colleagues and other trades when required
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
- Updating technical documentation and contributing to As-Built records
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting efficient project delivery
- Maintaining excellent health, safety and environmental standards at all times

Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices within industrial environments
- ECS Card and relevant electrical trade qualifications
- Design, Erection & Verification qualification (e.g. C&G 2400 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3, ONC or equivalent qualification
- Inspection and Testing qualification
- Previous experience within the water industry would be advantageous, but not essential
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Strong team player with excellent organisational skills
- Professional, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
