About the Opportunity

This is a Franchise opportunity
Pimlico Plumbers is London’s No. 1 for improving and maintaining properties, operating across high-value residential homes.

This opportunity is suited to experienced engineers looking to operate independently via a limited company and build a high-earning business within a proven platform within the Pimlico franchise network.

The Pimlico Plumbers Platform

As a Pimlico Plumbers franchisee, you will operate via your own limited company while leveraging an established platform designed to support performance and productivity.

The franchise will have access to experienced teams across operations, sales, and support functions, including:

  • 24/7 customer contact centre handling enquiries and bookings
  • Dedicated scheduling to optimise availability and productivity
  • Sales support for larger and more complex jobs
  • Centralised invoicing and payment collection
  • Access to approved suppliers and infrastructure
  • Ongoing technical and operational support

This model is designed to reduce admin, improve efficiency, and maximise the value of every day.

What Franchisees Will Be Doing

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
  • Fault finding, test and inspection of electrical systems including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers
  • Collaborating with the Pimlico operational team to provide outstanding service and workmanship
  • Liaising with the Pimlico team, providing estimates, opportunities, and sales leads
  • Managing availability and workload to maximise productivity and earnings
  • Leveraging central support functions to optimise availability
  • Identifying and converting additional opportunities on-site
  • Delivering high-quality work and representing the Pimlico Plumbers brand across customer environments

Important Information

  • This is a franchise arrangement, not an employment opportunity
  • Each franchise operates as a limited company under a franchise agreement, along with 230 existing franchisees
  • The territory is non-exclusive
  • Each franchise is responsible for its own business performance
  • All services must comply with Pimlico systems and standards

Minimum Qualifications

Persons undertaking work on behalf of the franchise must be, and remain, qualified, certified, and accredited in accordance with any applicable law or regulations related to its trade.

Mandatory:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification)
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • Test & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
  • Ability to test, certify and complete electrical work in line with current regulations

Preferred:

  • NICEIC / NAPIT registered, or ability to meet registration requirements
  • Experience working in commercial environments
  • Experience in fault finding across complex systems
  • Experience with EV charging, smart home or renewable systems (if relevant)
  • Experience working in high-end residential environments

Core Capability:

  • Proven experience across installation, maintenance, and fault finding
  • Ability to test, certify and sign off work
  • Strong fault diagnosis

Persons undertaking work on behalf of the franchise represent the Pimlico brand and must at all times:

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Be professional, reliable, and confident in customer-facing environments, with strong communication skills
  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high standards
  • Be proactive in managing workload and identifying additional opportunities
  • Be comfortable operating independently while leveraging a well-established platform
  • Be commercially aware and driven to maximise earnings
