This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Glenrothes. The Electrician will carry out commercial and industrial electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications in line with current regulations and company standards. Daily tasks include:

- Planned and reactive works
- Fault finding
- Repairs
- Testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment
- Supporting portable appliance testing
- Ensuring safe operation of equipment
- Accurately documenting work completed
The role also involves working closely with the wider team and clients to deliver reliable, safe, and efficient electrical solutions with minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications
- Proficient in electrical work for commercial and industrial environments, including installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Demonstrating troubleshooting ability to diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., SVQ/NVQ Level 3, time-served apprenticeship, or equivalent) and current certification as a fully qualified electrician or approved electrician.
- Up-to-date knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and applicable health and safety legislation.
- Experience with testing and inspection, including producing accurate reports and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites across Scotland if required.
- Strong attention to detail, safe working practices, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with a professional and dependable approach.
