Position Description

  • Electrical installation and connection of Air Handling Units (AHUs) on site
  • Termination of motors, sensors, actuators, control panels, and MCBs
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings
  • Assisting with commissioning, testing, and fault-finding of AHUs
  • Liaising with site managers, mechanical contractors, and commissioning engineers
  • Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and site H&S requirements
  • Completing site documentation, test certificates, and reports
  • Occasional support at the manufacturing facility for panel testing or build assistance (as required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • ECS / CSCS card
  • Proven experience in site-based electrical work
  • Ability to work from drawings and schematics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude with good communication skills

Required Education & Qualifications

Desirable (but not essential) Skills:

  • Previous experience working with AHUs, HVAC systems, or BMS controls
  • Commissioning experience
  • IPAF / PASMA
  • First Aid at Work
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial project.
