Job Title - Electrician
Location - Belfast
Metartec Belfast is looking for a qualified electrician or someone looking to complete their apprenticeship to join our growing, nationwide Operations Team, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and career in the critical power industry. With a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer focus, Metartec offers the chance to work on diverse and challenging projects.
What is the Role?
You will be responsible for the installation of electrical systems and critical power supply systems and testing of electrical equipment and systems across a wide range of client sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Based from home but would be expected to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Install electrical and critical power supply systems in accordance with current regulations.
- Testing of electrical equipment and systems in accordance with current regulations.
- Carry out electrical reactive maintenance repairs, fault finding, project work and battery installations.
- Provide electrical and technical support to colleagues.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.

About You
We are looking for someone who is technically capable, proactive, enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and wants to develop within the critical power industry.
It is essential that you possess:
- ECS Gold Card (for qualified Electrician), be 18th edition qualified and hold the relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Full clean driving licence and be willing to travel nationwide as required
