Role Description
This full-time, on-site Electrician role is based in the north west. The Electrician will install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in a variety of commercial environments, ensuring work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Diagnosing electrical faults
- Carrying out repairs
- Performing routine preventive maintenance
- Supporting project teams during fit-outs and refurbishments
The role also involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with other trades on-site, and completing accurate documentation for all work carried out. The Electrician will contribute to a safe workplace by following company procedures, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining professional conduct with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to commercial installations.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation, testing, and commissioning of systems and equipment.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults safely and efficiently.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and up-to-date industry certifications.
- Good understanding of current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial environments is highly beneficial.
