Electrician – Permanent, Full-Time

£41,925 basic per year
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
Company van and fuel card provided
Just Electricians is a growing electrical contractor based in Horsham. Due to an increasing workload, we are looking for a reliable and experienced electrician to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.
The work includes electrical testing, remedials, consumer-unit replacements and general installation and maintenance across domestic, social-housing, MOD and commercial properties.
This is a mobile role based from home, covering Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, London and occasionally other areas.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out EICRs in void and occupied properties
- Completing electrical remedial works
- Consumer-unit replacements and upgrades
- General electrical installation and maintenance
- Fault-finding, testing and inspection
- Completing electrical certificates accurately and promptly
- Updating jobs, photographs and records through ServiceM8
- Following BS 7671, company procedures and client specifications
- Protecting customers’ homes and maintaining a professional standard of conduct
- Looking after the company vehicle, equipment and materials provided

Essential requirements
- Level 3 electrical installation qualification or recognised equivalent
- Current 18th Edition qualification
- Relevant experience working independently as an electrician
- Good testing, fault-finding and remedial-work experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to complete certificates and electronic job records
- Professional, reliable and comfortable working in occupied properties
- Own standard hand and power tools
- An inspection and testing qualification, ECS/JIB card and experience with EICRs would be advantageous.
- The successful applicant must be willing to undertake any DBS, security or client-clearance checks required for particular contracts.

Hours and travel
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am–4:00pm
- 37.5 contracted hours per week
- Reasonable overtime may occasionally be required and is paid at time-and-a-half
Package
- Approximately £41,925 basic annual earnings
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
