Electrician Inverness & Nairn Areas

Location: Inverness and/or Nairn

Job Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm Available)

Rate: £30 per hour (£40 per hour overtime)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing team, working across domestic and commercial properties throughout the Inverness and Nairn areas.

Applicants should have previous experience carrying out domestic EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports). Experience completing multiple EICRs, identifying remedial works, and fault finding within domestic properties is highly desirable.

Candidates with previous NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (EQS) experience are particularly encouraged to apply, with opportunities to support compliance activities and progress into more senior responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on domestic and commercial properties
  • Identify defects and recommend remedial works
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Respond to maintenance call-outs
  • Complete electrical upgrades and installation works
  • Ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry standards
  • Support NICEIC/EQS compliance requirements (desirable)

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Previous experience carrying out domestic EICRs is essential
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Experience producing EICR reports and identifying remedial actions
  • EQS / NICEIC Qualified Supervisor experience (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
