Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Norwich. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components associated with renewable heating solutions, particularly air source heat pumps. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Wiring and connecting equipment
- Performing routine inspections
- Testing electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Identifying and troubleshooting faults
- Completing accurate documentation
- Liaising with customers on-site
- Working closely with the installation team to deliver high-quality projects on schedule

The Electrician is expected to follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement in installation practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical components and systems in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing issues efficiently and accurately.
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent technical training is highly beneficial.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and up-to-date certification.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards related to electrical safety and renewable energy installations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel within the Norfolk area for on-site work

Package
- £37,500 salary
- Permanent, full-time PAYE position
- Workplace pension with standard auto-enrolment contributions

- Additional training provided where required
- Predominantly local work within approximately one hour of Norwich
