Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Birmingham. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Daily tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Performing routine inspections
- Diagnosing faults
- Completing corrective work
- Testing electrical systems

The Electrician is expected to follow health and safety procedures, keep tools and work areas organized, and support the timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Electricity and Electrical Work, with the ability to work safely on various systems and installations.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electrical equipment, including scheduled servicing and corrective work.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical faults, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Foundational knowledge or formal training in Electrical Engineering principles relevant to installation and diagnostics.
- Recognized electrical qualifications or apprenticeship completion, and up-to-date certification in relevant electrical standards and regulations.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices, including safe isolation procedures and use of test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation plans.
- Effective communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to different worksites as required.
