About The Role
RGB Recruitment seeks an Electrician for Southampton, offering £40,000–£43,000 yearly plus a van on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will handle planned investment and refurbishment schemes, including complete rewires, consumer unit upgrades, and improvements linked to kitchen, bathroom and major renovation programmes. Duties cover high-quality installations, testing, and partial rewires, ensuring every task meets current safety, quality and compliance requirements. Work spans Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and nearby districts, with occasional jobs around Guildford, Portsmouth and adjacent locations. What You’ll Do
- Carry out high-quality electrical installations, upgrades and testing.
- Complete full and partial rewires and consumer unit replacements.
- Undertake electrical works as part of kitchen, bathroom and property refurbishment programmes.
- Ensure all work meets current safety, quality and compliance standards.
- Work across Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and surrounding areas, with occasional work around Guildford, Portsmouth and neighbouring locations.

What You’ll Need
- NVQ/AM2 (or equivalent)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
- Current 18th Edition qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in social housing, planned maintenance, property investment or refurbishment would be advantageous.
