Electrician & Panel Wirer

St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Monday-Friday 08:00 – 16:30
Up to £45k base, plus regular paid OT for occasional weekend work travelling for site installations (plus travel expenses and allowances provided)

A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Electrician to join their in-house Assembly & Installations Teams.

Their innovative processing and packaging line equipment is used across a wide variety of industries including food & FMCG.

In this role you will spend your week assembling, wiring and testing bespoke electrical control panels and switchgear. This is based at their site in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

On occasional weekends when required, you will accompany the Installation Team to support the installation and commissioning of equipment on customer sites. In return, you will receive generous overtime rates, travel expenses, and allowances will be provided.

This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments in automation, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means your work will be interesting and varied.

Equally, this role could suit someone currently in an electrical field service or installation role who wants to reduce the amount of travel they are doing.

Previous experience of working for a manufacturer of products used within the food industry and/or previous experience of installing & commissioning equipment would be beneficial but not essential.
