As our client portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electrician to join our established team of engineers in the North East.

About the Role

As our Electrician, you'll carry out a range of call outs, maintenance and service work across care homes, universities, colleges and local council sites throughout the North East, working alongside our established team of engineers.

You'll take part in a call out rota of 1 day in every 4, with standby and overtime paid accordingly, and full training will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • A range of call outs, maintenance and service jobs.
  • Working alongside the current team of engineers.
  • Identifying areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements, supplying accurate quotations where required.
  • Understanding and completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time, exceeding the customer's expectations.
  • Complying with company policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Attending and fully participating in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • Liaising with the office via phone calls, emails and the PDA system.
  • Reporting to the Regional Manager.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an electrical background.
  • Knowledge of BS7671.
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship (City & Guilds 2391).
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Generally IT literate.
  • A customer focused approach.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.

Desirable:

  • Electrical inspection & testing experience.

  • Salary of £36,000 per annum (OTE), dependent on experience and qualifications.
