Role Description

These full-time on-site Electricians roles are based in Pimperne and involves delivering a range of electrical services for local clients. Day-to-day tasks include installing and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, as well as performing routine inspections and safety checks. The Electrician will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and troubleshoot issues to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. The role also involves reading technical drawings, adhering to industry regulations, keeping accurate records of work completed, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers. The successful candidate will follow company procedures, maintain tools and materials, and support a safe working environment at all times.

  • Strong knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work, including safe handling and application.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance & repair, with the ability to complete planned and reactive tasks.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to installations, system operation, and design.
  • Recognized electrical qualifications or apprenticeship completion (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Test and Inspection qualifications would be desirable.
  • Up-to-date awareness of electrical regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Good communication skills, reliability, and a professional approach to customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as required.
