Brindley Place, Birmingham

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum + Benefits

Full Time | Permanent | Static Site

About The Role

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at Brindley Place, Birmingham.

This is a static site role responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a prestigious commercial property. While the role has a strong electrical bias, the successful candidate will be comfortable supporting a range of general building services maintenance activities and working collaboratively within a multi-skilled engineering team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the building, delivering exceptional service standards and maintaining excellent relationships with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Undertake minor works and repairs across electrical and building services systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with the site team and client representatives.
  • Support the delivery of a first-class facilities maintenance service, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Produce accurate information relating to labour, materials, and resource requirements for minor works quotations.
  • Liaise with Lead Engineers, Managers, Support Teams, and specialist subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Accurately update the Maximo CAFM system and ensure all work activities are correctly recorded.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues across the site.
  • Take ownership of work quality and continually strive to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in the site's out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
