Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Oxford. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a variety of building services projects. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Carrying out routine inspections
- Performing testing and fault-finding
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards

The role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other trades on-site, completing documentation, and supporting project delivery from installation through to handover. The Electrician is expected to work efficiently, maintain a high standard of workmanship, and uphold health and safety practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
- Practical experience in electrical work, including installation and commissioning of building services equipment.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with the ability to perform scheduled and reactive tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts relevant to building services environments.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent), and relevant certifications such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Awareness of current health and safety regulations and ability to follow company safety procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial building services is advantageous.
