Role Description
This full-time, on-site Electrician role is based in Armagh and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, with an emphasis on agricultural and poultry facilities. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Wiring and fitting electrical components
- Performing routine inspections
- Diagnosing faults
- Completing corrective repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation

The Electrician will read and interpret technical drawings, comply with relevant regulations, and document work carried out. The role also involves:

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them safely and effectively on-site.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation and commissioning of systems in agricultural, industrial, or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair, including planned preventative maintenance and corrective work on electrical equipment and systems.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Relevant electrical trade qualification or apprenticeship completion; current electrical certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations, with a strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with solid time management and communication skills.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel to client sites in the Armagh area and surrounding regions.
- Experience with agricultural or poultry installations is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn sector-specific requirements.
