Electrician — Renewable Energy Installations
About Ceiba Renewables
Ceiba Renewables Ltd is a Glasgow-based renewable energy installer founded in 2008. We specialise in <100kWp solar PV, battery storage (Tesla Powerwall, Hanchu), and EV charging (Myenergi, Hypervolt). We operate across Scotland — from city rooftops to remote island projects. The majority of our projects are residential with some small commercial.
We are a small, quality-focused business. Our credentials include:
- Solar PV Installer of the Year — Scotland Energy Efficiency Awards, three consecutive years
- Tesla Energy Certified Installer — received Tesla's Installation Excellence award (2018, 2022 and 2023)
- MCS accredited (through NICEIC)
- Which? Trusted Trader — 5.0/5.0 across 115 verified reviews, 100% recommendation rate
- Living Wage accredited employer
Our brand philosophy is 'Demand Better.' In practice that means this: we install complex, high-value systems — solar PV, Tesla Powerwalls, Hanchu batteries, Myenergi EV chargers — in people's homes, often in a single day, and we hand them over with a full explanation of how they work. Our customers have spent £10,000–£30,000 with us. They notice everything. Our Which? Trusted Trader rating of 5.0/5.0 across 115 reviews exists because every person on our team treats the job as their own reputation, not just a task to complete.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
