Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Electricians to work on a busy social housing contract covering Widnes and St Helens. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a well-established contractor carrying out repairs, maintenance and compliance works across occupied and void social housing properties.
Your new role
- Electrical repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- EICR testing and inspection works
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Consumer unit upgrades
- Remedial electrical works
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and company standards
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants whilst working in occupied homes

What you'll need to succeed
- ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- ✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ✅ 2391 Testing & Inspection Qualification
- ✅ Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience
- ✅ Full UK Driving Licence
- ✅ Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
