Help create safe, high-quality homes our customers can be proud of

At Abri, we're passionate about creating places where people can thrive. Our Electrical Empty Homes and Improvements & Testing team plays a vital role in making that happen, ensuring customers move into safe, compliant, and well-maintained homes while supporting improvements across our communities.

We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team, covering Yeovil and the surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same in this role. You'll play a key part in preparing our empty homes for new customers, carrying out electrical testing, inspections, repairs and installations that help us deliver homes that are safe, compliant and ready to welcome people home.

Alongside our empty homes programme, you'll also support:

  • Electrical inspections and testing across our homes and communal areas
  • Responsive repairs that keep our customers safe and comfortable
  • Planned improvement works, including kitchen, bathroom and heating upgrades
  • Communal lighting improvements and electrical enhancements across our neighbourhoods

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
