Are you an experienced Commercial or Industrial Electrician?
Metcor Electrical is part of Metcor Group and looking for Experienced Electricians to join the team.
Location
Watford, Bedford or Gravesend and travel will be required across London & South East
Contract
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 50 hours per week and paid for 45 hours. Lunch break is 30 mins unpaid each day and flexibility for overtime is required.
The main purpose of this role is to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding duties across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring electrical systems and infrastructure are operating safely, efficiently and in accordance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installations, maintenance, repairs and commissioning of electrical systems
- Conduct inspection, testing and certification works in accordance with BS 7671 regulations
- Complete EICs, EICRs and Minor Works Certificates to maintain compliance and accurate records
- Diagnose electrical faults across distribution systems, control panels and EV charging equipment, providing timely and effective solutions
- Work closely with site managers, engineers and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard
- Participate in the company’s On Call Rota, approximately 3–4 weeks per year
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, providing reports and updates on completed works and identified issues
- Document activities, including service reports, testing certification, repair logs and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.
About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician
- ECS Gold Card (or currently working towards obtaining one within the next few months)
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent) – Inspection & Testing
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and testing experience
- Excellent customer service skills
