The Electrician and Maintenance Team Member
The Electrician and Maintenance Team Member will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth operation and excellent condition of the park's facilities, owners' holidays homes, and hire fleet. Working within a team, your responsibilities will encompass routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for guests.
Duties

Site Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of holiday homes, ensuring utilities and amenities are in proper working order.
- Address and resolve issues related to individual holiday homes promptly.

Installation of Electrical Systems:
- Install wiring, conduits, lighting, switches, and electrical outlets in new construction projects or during renovations.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes while performing installations.

Maintenance and Repairs:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in existing systems.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, or components to restore functionality.

Testing and Inspection:
- Use testing devices to check the continuity, voltage, and resistance of electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Facility Upkeep:
- Maintain and repair public facilities within the holiday park, including bathrooms, common areas, and recreational amenities.

Utility Systems:
- Inspect and maintain utility systems such as water, sewage, and electrical systems throughout the holiday park.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving utility-related issues.

Guest Interaction:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing maintenance-related inquiries and concerns.
- Provide assistance and information regarding holiday home features and facilities.

Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe manner.
- Install grounding systems and implement safety measures to protect against electrical shocks.
- Report safety hazards promptly to the Maintenance Manager.

Code Compliance:
- Stay updated on changes to electrical codes and regulations.
- Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members to accomplish tasks efficiently.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and any additional notes.

Any other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Company.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
- Proven experience as an Electrician.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to electrical work.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Health and Safety
- Promote and maintain a safe working culture across the park at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate and enforce safe working practices.
- Ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
- Report and manage all accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment.
