Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Electricians/Approved Electricians to join our team. We require individuals that live along the M8 corridor as the work spans from West of Glasgow to the East of Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for EICRs in a social housing environment, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical work is completed efficiently and safely. You must also have qualifications in testing and inspection to the 18th Edition of the IET wiring regulations. The role comes with a company van, uniform, and necessary plant and equipment provided.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
  • Carry out EICRs and remedial repairs in social housing and commercial environments.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Maintain focus on customer service and client relationships.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Pay range: £39,520 - £47,840 depending on experience

Contracted hours:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
