Electrician – Long-Term Reactive Maintenance

Care Homes | South Wales | Long-Term Work

ITS Construction are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join a long-term reactive maintenance contract, carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across care homes throughout South Wales.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled electrician looking for consistent, long-term work with plenty of hours available.

The Role

You will be responsible for attending care homes to diagnose and resolve electrical faults, complete repairs and carry out general electrical maintenance.

Duties Will Include

  • Reactive fault finding and electrical repairs
  • Maintenance of lighting and power systems
  • Testing, inspection and remedial works
  • Emergency call-outs when required
  • Diagnosing electrical faults and providing effective solutions
  • Completing maintenance reports and paperwork
  • Working safely within occupied care environments
  • Liaising professionally with clients, site staff and management

Requirements

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Previous electrical maintenance experience
  • Experience with reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant testing and inspection experience desirable
  • ECS/JIB card desirable
