Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas
Salary
Up to £19.25 per hour
Hours
40 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm) Monday - Friday.
Working hours may vary depending on client demand, and additional hours may occasionally be required to meet business needs.

About Us
Old Court Electrical is a long-established, independent local electrical company working across the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
We undertake a wide range of projects, including inspection and testing work, remedial work, fault-finding work, extension wiring, alterations, renovations, conversions, and new-build properties.
About the Role
We have a unique opportunity whereby we are currently looking for an Electrician Improver or Fully Qualified Electrician to join our longstanding team.
Applicants must live in or around the Peterborough, Stamford, The Deepings, Bourne, or Spalding area. Due to the location of our work, applications from candidates living significantly further afield will not be considered.

Requirements
Do you have:
- Recent experience in Domestic Electrical work
- Relevant 18th edition qualification
- Sufficient knowledge, practical skills, and experience to carry out fault-finding tasks
- Experience working within furnished homes
- First aid and asbestos awareness qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
- A relevant inspection and testing qualification would also be an advantage but not essential
Can you:
- Work well under pressure and remain calm when plans change at short notice
- Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, colleagues, and suppliers
Are You:
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, where required by clients, before entering certain construction sites where you may encounter children or vulnerable adults
