Job Description

Location: CTS, Unit A Milltown East Ind Est, Upper Dromore Road

Are you a skilled electrician looking for your next opportunity? CTS-Cardo are seeking to recruit additional Electrical Inspection & Test Engineers for new contracts in the Belfast and South Down Areas. You will be supplied with a van and a fuel card.

About The Role

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Electrical Installation & Condition Testing as and when required
  • Working in void and occupied premises
  • Working in a commercial environment
  • Experience in planned and cyclical maintenance
  • Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that CTS expect
  • Uphold Data Protection Policies
  • Travel across Belfast & South Down

Health & Safety

  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
  • Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
  • Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
  • Observe & follow all manual handling practices

In addition, as the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations properties, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate. CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.

Energy & Compliance Services

From all sources of domestic and commercial heating appliances that we service and maintain, we also offer a full install and commission package.

Property Services

Our Property Services team delivers building maintenance for small, medium and large-scale developments, delivering all trades response and preventative maintenance packages to clients in a wide range of general and specialised works including plumbing, heating, flooring, fit out, renovation and insulation.

Development

We provide new build development of residential and commercial property schemes with a portfolio that stretches across the island of Ireland, including land acquisition and the build out of social housing projects right through to commercial premises.

Required Criteria

  • Fully qualified Electrician
  • 17th/ 18th Edition
  • Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in construction or Plumbing and Heating Industry
  • Testing & Inspection 2391-2394/2395
  • 3 years post apprenticeship experience

  • Sparks Safe Card
