Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based around the Leeds area. The Electrician will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on retrofit projects for residential properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include installing and wiring solar PV systems and equipment, commissioning completed works, performing routine inspections and testing, and documenting all work carried out. The role involves collaborating with project managers, retrofit coordinators, and other trade professionals to deliver projects on time and to specification. The Electrician is expected to maintain a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer communication while working efficiently in a busy, project-driven environment.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
- Proven experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and commissioning of residential solar PV systems.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to domestic retrofit and energy efficiency projects.
- Recognised electrical qualifications associated with Solar PV (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Experience working to UK building regulations, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, record-keeping, and ability to complete certificates and reports accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and residents.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites within the region as required.
