Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrician to join their growing team.

With an hourly rate of £20-20 per hour (more if you are highly experienced) + use of a company vehicle and a great workplace culture, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing construction business based in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing work across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
  • Install, fault-find and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Complete Inspection and Testing in accordance with current regulations.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Complete relevant job sheets, inspection reports and certification accurately.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and colleagues on site.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
  • Support other members of the team where required.
  • Travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays and working away from home when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a qualified Electrician.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work away from home when required.

Desirable

  • Experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems.
  • P.V. and E.E.S.S. qualified.
