Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Liverpool. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components related to heating and boiler installations, ensuring safe and efficient operation in residential properties. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical faults, performing troubleshooting, completing routine maintenance, and carrying out corrective repairs in line with industry regulations. The role also involves working closely with gas and heating engineers, preparing accurate documentation, and communicating clearly with customers about work performed and any follow-up requirements. The Electrician is expected to adhere to all safety standards, maintain a tidy work environment, and contribute to a high-quality service experience.

- Strong knowledge of electricity and safe electrical practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in residential heating and boiler environments.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system setup for domestic properties.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with a focus on reliability and preventative servicing.
- Effective troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Background or training in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with relevant certifications or trade qualifications.
- Up-to-date industry certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and compliance with local electrical and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation, and to complete clear job reports.
- Strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within Liverpool, Cheshire, and North Wales as required.
