Are you a qualified electrician who takes pride in getting the job done right first time?

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Are you passionate about delivering excellent service and keeping homes safe for tenants?

We’re looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our housing properties. You’ll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.

Working across both occupied and void properties, you’ll carry out a variety of electrical tasks while supporting colleagues and other trades when needed.

Location: Norwich (Base) - covering East Anglia including Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Kings Lynn

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00

Contract: Permanent + Van

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carry out a range of electrical repairs and maintenance work across properties
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, right first time
  • Work on both occupied and void homes
  • Support other trades and colleagues when required
  • Use tools and systems to manage and complete jobs effectively
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding and emergency situations
  • Participate in the on-call rota, including evenings and public holidays

What You'll Bring

  • 18th Edition qualification and current ECS card
  • Experience in electrical maintenance within housing or construction
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good knowledge of general building and construction
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet customer needs, including occasional overtime
  • IT literacy (e.g. Outlook, Teams, digital job systems)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent
