Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading social housing contractor carrying out electrical maintenance and installation works across domestic properties throughout Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a well-established contractor delivering planned and reactive maintenance programmes within occupied and void social housing properties.

Your new role

  • Carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties
  • Fault-finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Consumer unit replacements and upgrades
  • Installation of sockets, switches, lighting and other electrical fixtures
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and company standards
  • Completing relevant paperwork and compliance documentation
  • Providing excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures on site

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
