This is a full-time, self-employed, on-site role for an Electrician based in England, United Kingdom. The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing upgrades and modifications. Tasks will include ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (EICR), and supporting energy-efficient and sustainable system implementations for domestic and commercial projects.

You will need your own van and tools for this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Work and foundational knowledge of Electricity
  • Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and standards
  • Familiarity with EICR testing and energy-efficient system installations
  • Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent) and BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification
  • ECS Gold Card
  • 2391 inspection and testing
  • Solar PV and Battery storage qualifications desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
