Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Boston, Lincolnshire. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in mainly commercial and industrial environments, including schools, offices, factories, farms, and occasionally in residential properties. The role may also involve working on modern energy solutions such as Solar PV and battery storage, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The Electrician will complete accurate documentation, collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, and provide professional, courteous service to customers.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles applicable to domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical installations, with the ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance safely and efficiently.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults, performance issues, and system failures.
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent technical training, with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or similar) is essential
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671) is essential.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification preferable but not essential.
- Experience or interest in renewable and modern energy solutions such as Solar PV & battery storage
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation, with strong attention to detail and safety-focused work practices.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team on-site.
- Valid UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
