Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Doncaster. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and domestic settings. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Wiring and cable installation
  • Testing and inspecting electrical installations
  • Diagnosing faults
  • Completing necessary repairs to ensure systems are safe and fully operational

The Electrician is expected to work efficiently, support project deadlines, and contribute to a positive and professional team culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electricity and electrical engineering principles, with the ability to apply them safely and effectively.
  • Practical experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and testing of electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and current industry certifications; 2391 52 is advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK electrical regulations and safety practices, including adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required within the region.
  • Must be able to work away where required. Nice Air BnB accommodation is always provided.
