We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, helping keep our customers' homes safe, comfortable and compliant through high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance and installations.

About the role

No two days are the same in this role. As an Electrician, you'll carry out a mix of repairs, fault finding, testing and installation work across our housing stock, helping our customers stay safe and comfortable in their homes.

You'll be trusted to manage your workload, solve problems and deliver high-quality work with a customer-first approach. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy variety, you'll fit right in. To support you in the role, we'll provide a company van and fuel card for business use.

You’ll bring:

  • NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and Part P qualifications.
  • Experience detecting faults in electrical appliances and systems and correctly diagnosing their causes.
  • Experience installing, repairing and maintaining domestic fixtures and systems.
  • Working knowledge of other associated trades e.g. plastering, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, flooring.
  • Experience testing and inspecting electrical installations in line with current regulations.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Additional requirement

While a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable, candidates who do not currently hold this qualification will be required to achieve it upon successful completion of their probationary period.

Pre employment requirements

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check, a Right to Work check, and a DVLA licence check.

Working hours

You will be required to be on site and ready to start at 08:00, working through to 17:00 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
