Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Chepstow & Newport. The Electrician will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in domestic and commercial settings, ensuring all tasks meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Diagnosing faults
- Performing troubleshooting on electrical systems
- Testing and inspecting installations
- Completing necessary documentation
The role involves working with renewable energy systems, collaborating with team members, and communicating clearly with clients to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions.
Qualifications
- Foundation in electricity principles and electrical engineering, with the ability to apply them safely in practical settings.
- Proficiency in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades in domestic and commercial environments.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, ensuring equipment remains functional and compliant.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults promptly.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or apprenticeship completion, with current industry-recognized certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds).
- Thorough understanding of UK electrical regulations and safety standards, including BS 7671 requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to customer service.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally for on-site work.
- Third year apprentices will also be considered.
