Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire – with work predominantly across the local area and within approximately 1.5 hours of Portsmouth

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time, PAYE


About the Company

Optima Site Solutions is recruiting an experienced, fully qualified Electrician on behalf of an established electrical contractor working across commercial and industrial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician looking for a varied role covering electrical installation, maintenance, and testing, with a strong pipeline of work, ongoing training, and opportunities to progress.


The Role

As an Electrician, you will:

  • Carry out electrical installation and maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial sites
  • Complete work safely and to required industry standards
  • Work independently as well as alongside other engineers and site teams
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues effectively
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and site contacts to support successful project delivery

Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience working as a qualified Electrician
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and a professional approach to work
