Description
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing renewables team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work, enjoy being out on site, and want to be part of a team driving the transition to renewable energy, this could be the role for you.
Working across domestic and commercial installations, you’ll play a key role in delivering solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging projects. You’ll be the face of Mole Energy on site, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer experience.
You’ll join a supportive and collaborative team, with opportunities to develop your skills in a fast-growing and innovative sector.
About The Role
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time
- Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week
As an Electrician, you’ll work as part of an installation team delivering renewable energy systems across the South West. You’ll install, test, and commission solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charge points, ensuring all work meets industry standards and company expectations.

You’ll also support with aftercare and maintenance work, helping to ensure our customers continue to receive a high standard of service after installation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Installing solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and EV charge points
- Working from detailed plans produced following site surveys
- Testing, commissioning, and signing off installations in line with regulations
- Attending sites for warranty and aftercare work, including fault finding and repairs
- Travelling to homes and businesses across the South West as part of the installation team
- Acting as a professional and approachable representative on site, delivering a positive customer experience
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time
- Occasional overnight stays for larger installations (with expenses covered)
About You
- BS7671 18th Edition (essential)
- 2391 Testing and Inspecting (desirable)
- Experience in electrical installation, ideally within renewables (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of solar PV systems or a strong interest in renewable technologies
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- A positive, flexible team player who’s keen to learn and develop
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
